German Innovation Award Gold Winner 2020

The X Shore Eelex 8000 received the German Innovation Award Gold title, which is given out by the Rat für Formgebung - German Design Council

The conclusion from the German Innovation Awards jury:

“The Swedish electric boat, X Shore Eelex 8000, is equipped with a high-performance electric drive and represents significantly less load for the environment with regard to emissions and noise than a sports boat with a combustion engine. The fact that the most environmentally friendly possible materials are used for the manufacture of hull and superstructure is only logical. In presenting the award, the jury, therefore, considered first and foremost the exemplary implementation of the unified approach that impressively shows that motor water sports and a strong sense of environmental awareness are not exclusive.“

X Shore’s Eelex 8000 is manufactured with the latest CAD technology and has been created using traditional Swedish craftsmanship. Inspired by the Electric Eel, each X Shore craft features a modular interior and a hull that is optimised for efficient passage through the water. We select colours that complement our natural surroundings. When our engineers create, they consider wildlife, as well as our clients. Our emphasis on total silence is based on respect for life underneath, as well as above the surface of the water.
